From the village of\nMaletto, it is possible to access the middle area of the volcano, on a road\nthat can be travelled using a private vehicle, which must be left alongside Monte\nLa Nave, the start of Trail 713. The barracks is located along the trail, a short\nway from the Altomontana Path and has a small area that can serve as emergency\naccommodation for excursionists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Nave to meet the State Forestry Property border. Hiking Trail no. 713 starts here and leads to the Pista Altomontana, through a 2.3-km route and a 250-m difference of altitude. Just before their junction, the State Forestry Company-owned La Nave Lodge is located at an altitude of 1438 m. This can provide hikers with an emergency shelter. Inside the \u201cdagala\u201d the trail is well preserved, while it becomes just a trace in the final section towards the cavity.
